Home renovator and amateur sleuth, Flora Abner, has been enjoying the process of working on her fixer-upper home.

Her new life is grand until she decides to do some landscaping and uncovers a body that was clearly buried a long time ago.

Police identify the remains as belonging to someone from an old missing person’s case and while it doesn’t necessarily seem related, Flora has had some issues with trespassers on her property, including her nosy neighbors, and considers the possibility that one of them might have done it.

As she begins to make friends around the town, she holds back a bit, not knowing whom to trust.

In a new place where anyone can be a suspect, will she crack the case before she becomes the next victim?
