Retiree and amateur sleuth, Loretta Barksdales peaceful community - Breezy Lake Village - is thrown into an uproar when the news gets out that a reclusive daytime drama star has moved into the area.

Fans pour into the typically serene space, camping out on the stars lawn and generally making nuisances of themselves. Loretta and the rest of the Clubhouse Cooks group are roped into welcoming their famous new addition with a special event by an obnoxious super-fan, but the circumstances are making it tough to even plan it.

When a scuffle at the stars home ends in murder, Loretta dives in to investigate, and discovers some interesting information about the victim and the company that they kept. Further complicating matters, the famous personality seems to have fled.

The pressure is on when shes faced with figuring out who the killer is before they can get their hands on the newest community member, or anyone else.
