Bedell needed supplies to keep his secret gold mine workin', and the women could be used or traded or killed as he saw fit. But Bedell didn't count on Preacher leadin' that wagon train, and he made his first mistake leavin' Preacher for dead...which sure wasn't the same as him. His next mistake was never figgerin' Preacher'd try to rescue the ladies and lead them out of captivity through fifteen hundred miles of unforgivin' territory and hostile Indians. But Preacher was hard as flint, and fightin' was what he knew best...as Bedell and his wild bunch were soon to learn!
